How to Write an Opinion Essay

Before writing an opinion essay, you need to read the question attentively. You should decide what type of essay it is – cause and effect, problem and solution, opinion, or a mixture. The kind of question will choose the plan and your ideas.

In your opinion essay, you should underline main vocabulary in the question plus write words with related or the same meaning. It will truly save a huge part of your time later on. Also, it will help to evade the duplication of words, and it will demonstrate that you know the question.

You need to decide whether you are against or for the idea. Typically, it is wise to provide both sides (against and for – one paragraph each) and give your point of view in the conclusion. Though, there are some other ways of planning your opinion essay.

You need to pt for the plan of your work. Among the best is so called 3773. It includes four paragraphs: the introduction (3 sentences), one side (7 sentences), another side (7 sentences), and the conclusion (3 sentences). It will occupy 20 sentences. A usual of 12 words each and 240 words in common. Perfect!

After you have created your plan, you need to write your essay. If you are following this simple structure, you are sure to compose a good work.

Also, it is wise to give your work somebody for checking before submit it to your professor. This will help you to find the weak points of your work and improve them.
