As you must have already guessed, it is necessary to know the rules of the opinion essay organization. If you do not observe these rules, your teacher will not be satisfied with your work, and will get you a very low grade.

How can you get to know the rules of organization of an opinion essay? Normally, the teachers tell the students how to organize the essays. However, they may forget to mention it. Or their explanation may be quite weak. Or, and this case is the most widely spread, the student may forget the teacher’s words.

You are required to divide your opinion essay into three paragraphs:

  • The introductory paragraph will present the discussed problem, stating the topic of the discussion.
  • The second paragraph will express your point of view with the supportive arguments and appropriate grounding of your thoughts.
  • The thirds paragraph will summarize your opinion so that the readers could see the basic arguments.

If you have a lot to say to a discussed topic, you may divide the second paragraph into smaller paragraphs to ease the reading for the readers.
