Great Opportunities in Opinion Essay

Everybody has some specific issues that interest or worry him/her most of all. An opinion essay is your great opportunity to introduce all your thoughts and ideas on particular topic or problem. This is the main thing about an opinion essay – stating your point of view and giving reasonable arguments for that.

So, you have to think of something that you strongly believe in and what you are ready to defend. You can make a list of such thing if you have several of them and think what is the most important for you. Then you should think about the appropriate arguments that will support your viewpoint.

If I had to write an opinion essay, I would choose a topic like “MacDonald’s is the evil of modern society”. As for me it is the burning issue of nowadays and it seems that nobody is concerned about that.

When I see those fat kids that are coming out of MacDonald’s with happy faces because they have eaten one more hamburger, I think “What is that part of a body that their parents are thinking with?” Instead of eating fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking natural juices, parents allow their children to drink Coca-Cola and eat genetically modified food.

Despite all the assurances that MacDonald’s uses the products of high quality, I do not believe in that. It seems to be scientifically proven that Coca-Cola is very harmful for our organism. The same I can tell about all the other stuff in MacDonald’s. Somebody may appeal against my opinion but I have one simple question in that case. Why do people who are constantly eating in MacDonald’s sooner or later turn into shapeless, plodding along at the snail’s pace figures?

I know for sure that people who lead a healthy way of life and avoid visiting MacDonald’s are much happier since they do not worry about a heart attack that will happen to them one day because of the obesity.
